Sixth-Dynasty queen's pyramid at South Saqqara within the funerary complex of Pepi I, built for Queen Meritites IV, one of his consorts. Construction date approximately 2305 BCE. Excavated by the French mission at Saqqara during the 1990s and early 2000s. Original base approximately 21 metres per side; original height around 13 metres. The substructure preserved a limestone burial chamber with Pyramid Texts inscribed on the west and north walls, an emptied basalt sarcophagus, and fragments of a wooden inner coffin. The mortuary chapel produced a granite false door and offering table bearing the queen's titles, including King's Daughter, King's Wife, and Beloved of the Two Ladies. Her parentage links her into the senior royal line, suggesting she was a daughter of one of the late Fifth-Dynasty kings married to Pepi to consolidate succession.
The fourth Meritites in the king lists, the third generation of royal women buried in their own inscribed pyramids, and the last to be added to the densest royal cemetery in Old Kingdom Egypt.
