A Roman 9-circuit double meander-type labyrinth mosaic measuring 1.4x1.1 meters, originally from a villa on Via Cadolini in Cremona and now displayed in the Cremona Archaeological Museum. Cremona, founded as a Roman colony in 218 BCE, was one of the first Roman settlements in the Po Valley. The compact dimensions suggest this was a private devotional or decorative piece rather than a walkable labyrinth. The double meander pattern — two interleaved meander paths — is a distinctly Roman innovation not found in Greek labyrinths. Giza bearing 318.3°.
