The Pyramid of Falicon, built atop a cave entrance in the hills above Nice, France, most likely dates to the early 19th century — constructed between 1803 and 1812 after Domenico Rossetti discovered the cave beneath it in 1803 and wrote a poem celebrating the grotto in 1804. The small stone pyramid marks the entrance to a natural karst cave system that was used in antiquity but itself is not ancient. At 118.07° Giza bearing, Falicon sits on a European ley line corridor stretching 2,600 km to the Great Pyramid. While the pyramid itself is modern, the cave below may have served as a sacred subterranean space long before — caves along the Cote d'Azur show continuous ritual use from the Neolithic through Roman periods.
