The Trilith of Rio Grande do Sul stands as an enigmatic dolmen-like structure in southern Brazil, bearing an uncanny resemblance to European megalithic constructions. Comprising large stone slabs arranged in a trilithon configuration, the monument challenges conventional models of South American prehistory. Limited archaeological study has left its builders, date, and purpose largely unknown — though it sits within a broader landscape of under-documented megaliths across Brazil's southern highlands. Its 60.11° Giza bearing places it along the South American Pleiades corridor, geometrically linking it to the better-known sambaqui complexes along the coast to the east.
