Yeturow (also known as Iretiru) held the Egyptian titles of King's Wife, King's Daughter, and King's Sister, indicating her central position in the Kushite royal dynasty. The Meroitic pyramids are steeper and smaller than their Egyptian counterparts, with characteristic chapel annexes on the eastern face for funerary offerings.
