Balnuaran of Clava is a tightly clustered group of three Bronze Age cairns set in a small stand of beech trees near the village of Culloden, east of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, the type-site of the regional tradition known as Clava cairns. The three principal monuments — a northeast passage cairn, a southwest passage cairn, and a central ring cairn — were built around 2000 BCE, each ringed by a kerb of graded boulders, the largest blocks placed on the southwest side, and each cairn surrounded in turn by an outer circle of standing stones. Both passage cairns have entrance corridors aligned on the midwinter sunset, which still illuminates the inner chamber through the passage on clear afternoons in late December. Several of the kerbstones bear cup-and-ring rock art that was carved earlier and reused, the marks now facing inward into the body of the cairn. Balnuaran of Clava has been continuously known since the medieval period, and the trees around it were planted by the Victorians in a deliberately picturesque arrangement that has since become part of the visitor experience.

The site sits within a few kilometres of the Culloden battlefield of 1746.
