One of the finest surviving Persian gardens, fed by the Soleimanieh qanat spring whose water flows through the garden using gravity alone — creating fountains without mechanical pumps. The classic chahar bagh (four-fold) layout divides the garden into quadrants representing the four Zoroastrian elements, with turquoise-tiled pools, Safavid pavilions, and the bathhouse where Amir Kabir was assassinated in 1852. Inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012 as part of the 'Persian Gardens' nomination. At Giza bearing 262.52° — westward — 1,956 km from the Great Pyramid.
