Arroyo Hondo Labyrinth Petroglyph is a labyrinth installation in Taos County, New Mexico, United States. The design is a classical 5circuit layout with 5 circuits, 6 walls, built of rock carving. Documented age: Possibly 17th century CE (Unknown (possibly 1600s)). Current condition: intact. Carved on a cliff face overlooking Arroyo Hondo canyon near Taos, New Mexico, this classical 5-circuit labyrinth with a distinctive 'seed error' represents one of the most remote and inaccessible labyrinth petroglyphs in the Americas. Documentation sources: Saward 2003. The labyrinth pattern occurs nowhere in nature; every documented instance traces back to a human hand. The labyrinth is one of several hundred sites of this type catalogued globally; each preserves the same unicursal walking-pattern with regional variation in scale, material, and date.

The labyrinth tradition spans at least 4,000 years of documented practice across northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the British Isles, North America, and the Indian subcontinent.
