An 8-wall single-angle classical labyrinth at Majbacken near Garde, measuring 14.5x13.3 meters in an oval footprint. The 8-wall form is the simplest classical labyrinth design, tracing its lineage to Bronze Age Mediterranean prototypes. Garde parish on central-eastern Gotland contains one of the island's oldest churches (12th century) with Romanesque baptismal fonts carved from local limestone. The oval proportions suggest the builders adapted the design to natural bedrock contours. At Giza bearing 345.83°, 3,203 km from the Great Pyramid.
