The Grand Gallery's corbelled ceiling rises 8.6 meters at a 26.5° angle matching the passage to the King's Chamber. The King's Chamber resonates at 438 Hz (concert A). Recent muon tomography has revealed a 30-meter void above the Grand Gallery whose purpose remains unknown. Completed approximately 2560 BCE under Pharaoh Khufu.
