Lemnos Labyrinth (Ancient) is a labyrinth installation in Lemnos Island, Aegean Sea, Greece. The built of stone. Documented age: Ancient (Pre-Roman). Current condition: destroyed. Lemnos (Ancient Greek: Λῆμνος [ˈlɛ̂ːmnos]) or Limnos (Modern Greek: Λήμνος [ˈlimnos]) is a Greek island in the northern Aegean Sea. Administratively the island forms a separate municipality within the Lemnos regional unit, which is part of the North Aegean region. Documentation sources: Pliny. The same seven-circuit topology appears at this site as at every other classical labyrinth on Earth. The labyrinth is one of several hundred sites of this type catalogued globally; each preserves the same unicursal walking-pattern with regional variation in scale, material, and date.
