Thirteenth-Dynasty pyramid at South Saqqara, immediately south of the Khendjer pyramid, attributed to an unknown king whose name was never recovered from the structure. Construction date approximately 1730 BCE. Original base 79 metres per side — making it one of the largest Thirteenth-Dynasty pyramids — but the superstructure was abandoned mid-construction and never rose more than a few courses above the foundation. Excavated by Gustave Jéquier in 1930. The substructure was completed and preserved a quartzite burial chamber, a sliding roof slab, and an empty sarcophagus; no inscribed material naming the owner survived. Two sets of cartouches in the substructure were prepared for inscription and left blank.
A pyramid larger than most of its dynasty, with finished underground chambers and an aborted superstructure, built for a king whose name was either erased before it was ever cut — or never cut at all because he died before the work reached the level where his identity would have been recorded.
