Pyramid Beg. N 11 is the largest pyramid in Meroe's Northern Cemetery, distinguished by outstanding relief decoration in its offering chapel depicting ritual scenes of the afterlife. The reliefs show the deceased before Osiris and Isis in compositions that blend Egyptian theology with distinctly Meroitic iconographic elements — demonstrating the cultural synthesis that defined this kingdom. At 350.07° Giza bearing, it anchors the northern end of the Meroitic meridian corridor. The pyramid's scale suggests a particularly powerful ruler, though the exact attribution remains debated among scholars. Meroe's Northern Cemetery contains the tombs of over 30 kings and queens spanning five centuries.
