The Temple of the Seven Dolls at Dzibilchaltún in the northwestern Yucatán of Mexico is a small but architecturally significant pyramid built between approximately 500 and 700 CE during the Early Classic and modified through the Late Classic. The structure takes its name from seven small ceramic figurines recovered from a sealed offering deposit beneath the floor of the summit shrine in 1956 by E. Wyllys Andrews IV, working with the Tulane University expedition. The temple's east-facing doorway aligns precisely with the rising sun on the spring and autumn equinoxes — on those mornings, sunlight passes directly through the door and the corresponding window on the western face. The site was occupied continuously from approximately 500 BCE through the Spanish Conquest.

The Temple of the Seven Dolls is a building positioned so that twice a year the sun shines straight through it from one side to the other.
