Gedong Songo is a group of nine small Hindu Shivaite temples on the slopes of Mount Ungaran in central Java, Indonesia, at elevations between 1,200 and 1,500 metres. The temples were built between approximately 730 and 780 CE under the Sanjaya dynasty, contemporary with and stylistically related to the Dieng Plateau temples 50 kilometres to the west. The name Gedong Songo means nine buildings in Javanese, though the surviving complex contains five small temple groups distributed across four ridges. Construction is of cut volcanic andesite blocks in square cella form with stepped pyramidal roofs. Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles recorded the temples in 1804 during the brief British administration of Java, and Dutch archaeologists undertook major reconstruction in the early 20th century. The setting includes active sulfur fumaroles between the temple groups, and the climb between them traverses tropical mountain forest.

The principal temple of Group I stands fully restored on its terrace.
