Gunung Kawi is an 11th-century rock-cut Hindu monument in the Tampaksiring district of central Bali, Indonesia. The site consists of ten candi shrines carved directly into the vertical cliff face of the Pakerisan River gorge, each shrine reached by a long stone-cut staircase descending to the river bed. The shrines are arranged in two groups of four and five facing each other across the river, with a tenth shrine isolated downstream. Each candi is sculpted as the facade of a small stepped temple in shallow relief — these are rock-cut representations rather than free-standing buildings. The site is dated to the reign of King Anak Wungsu of the Warmadewa dynasty in the 11th century and is traditionally interpreted as a memorial complex for the king and members of his court. A Buddhist meditation cave complex lies a short distance downstream.

The cliff facade remains intact and accessible by descending the carved staircase to the river bed below.
