Documented by the Kosmopoisk expedition in 2014 with precise GPS coordinates (67.1625°N, 32.3888°E), this stone labyrinth on the Kola Peninsula represents one of over 50 labyrinths in the region — the highest concentration in the world outside Scandinavia. At 0.81° Giza bearing, it shares with its neighbor (the Kandalaksha Babylon) one of the most precise polar-Giza meridional alignments of any ancient structure on Earth. The Kola Peninsula's unique geology — home to the 12-km Kola Superdeep Borehole and some of the oldest rock on the planet (3.7 billion years) — creates a geomagnetic environment unlike any other labyrinth region.
