Australia's capital was designed by Walter Burley Griffin, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and documented Theosophist, who won the 1912 design competition with a plan encoding sacred geometric principles. The city's triangular layout uses precise 60-60-60 degree angles. The Parliament House itself is built INTO Capital Hill — the roof is a grassy slope that citizens literally walk over, symbolizing democracy's supremacy over government. The land axis runs at 216° (6³) — a number significant in both Pythagorean and Hindu mathematics. The building's flagpole, at 81 meters, is visible from every approach road. Griffin's original plan included geometric alignments to Mount Ainslie and the astronomical meridian.
