Po Nagar is the most important Cham religious site still in active use — dedicated to the goddess Yang Ino Po Nagar (the Cham equivalent of Uma/Parvati). The North Tower (Thap Chinh) rises 28 meters with a terraced pyramidal roof and octagonal columns. Inside, a 1.2-meter seated goddess statue receives offerings from Cham, Chinese, and Vietnamese Buddhist worshippers — a living syncretic tradition spanning over 1,200 years. Built from the 7th to 12th centuries near Nha Trang. At 297.98° Giza bearing, Po Nagar marks the furthest southeast extension of the mainland Southeast Asian sacred architecture corridor.
