Pontremoli Cathedral Labyrinth is a rock-carved labyrinth in Massa-Carrara, Tuscany, Italy. The design is a classical 7circuit layout with 7 circuits, 8 walls, built of rock carving. Documented age: 12th-13th century (12th-13th century). Current condition: intact. A small classical labyrinth carved on the exterior of Pontremoli Cathedral in the Lunigiana region of Tuscany — near the famous prehistoric stele statues dating to the 3rd millennium BCE. Documentation sources: Kern 2000. A pattern with one entrance, one path, and no choices — repeated by unrelated cultures across thousands of years. The labyrinth is one of several hundred sites of this type catalogued globally; each preserves the same unicursal walking-pattern with regional variation in scale, material, and date.

The labyrinth tradition spans at least 4,000 years of documented practice across northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the British Isles, North America, and the Indian subcontinent.
