The design is a roman meander layout with 4 circuits, 5 walls, approximately 3.2 metres in diameter, built of mosaic. Documented age: ~1100 CE (~1100 CE). Current condition: intact. A 12th-century floor mosaic labyrinth in the crypt of San Savino Basilica in Piacenza, featuring a Roman meander-type design with signs of the zodiac in the four corners.
